The Story

[vc_column_text 0=””]Paintings 4 Sale originated in the mind of our founder – Andy Fields over 40 years ago. Andy was given his first oil painting from his former head master – Mr Dan Asterley. After falling in love with the painting and not being able to paint himself, he had to find another way to acquire more art. Andy then swapped his Sinclair spectrum computer for another painting. He now had the bug and became a serious collector (or Hoarder) during the following years.

Today, the Internet has allowed Andy to share his art with the rest of the world enabling him to reach a global audience so that others can buy his handpicked selection of wonderful paintings.

Today Andy is proud to have an inventory of paintings from some of the world’s leading artists. Every picture has provenance back to the artist. Apart from art, Andy enjoys many finer things in life. Some hardly cost anything at all but are equally enjoyable. Andy lives in Devon with his wife, daughter and dog named Poppy.

You arrive at our site and decide which compositions complement your personal taste in art and choose which paintings you are interested in.

Then you have three options.

  1. You can buy the artwork directly using our secure online shop
  2.  Contact us for more information
  3. Arrange an appointment at our gallery to view the artwork directly

At no time are you under any obligation to buy as we want you to be totally satisfied before you make any purchase. We welcome appointments and enjoy showing our unique collection of fine art original paintings even if no sale is made.
